Los Angeles Craigslist Too Much Of a Hassle
I remember about nine months ago there was an 18yr. old girl who met someone through a listing on Los Angeles Craigslist, and then disappeared shortly after meeting. I have been wondering lately about the safety of that site, and if they ever found that girl. She was pretty too. Right now I’m looking around trying to find an alternative to that site, because threes seems to always be shady characters on that site. I kind of hooked up with this new site that doesn’t seem to have nearly as much hassle as Los Angeles Craigs list.

Los Angeles Craigslist Gets A Solid Competitor
First and foremost let me tell you that I am an excellent investigative bargain shopper. I was on Los Angeles Craigslist snooping around, and ran into a terrific sounding deal for a washing machine. It said little things like..as is….and that it was in fair condition. In the past something as benign as that description would have been enough for me to scoop it right up. But knowing what happen to me the last time I bought something online, I went on the site www.adlump.com and found the same washer being sold at a much better price. If I wasnt so saavy I may have been out of some serious cash. Check out that site…it’s better than Craigslist.

The woes of Los Angeles Craigslist
I have heard many tales of things going wrong on Los angeles craigslist. By now you would think that they would have their multi-talented team of investigators working around the clock weeding out those undesirables who keep making it so damn hard for us regular people who want to surf the classifieds unpeturbed. Los Angeles Craigslist needs a big time improvement on the way that they do things. I wonder if they are a member of the Better Business Bureau. Anywho, something has got to be done. Is there anyone out ther brave enough to stand with me?

Craigslist Los Angeles. Why Are They Monitoring
Why did craigs list Los Angeles start monitoring the service section so much? I have been playing around with craigslist Los Angeles for some time. Now while posting in services I now have to enter in a phone verification number. I know that craigslist has had some issues with the erotic services section, but why am I getting affected by that. I am in the health and beauty section.

Los Angeles Craigslist Becoming A Little More Creepy
Police said online sellers should be watch out for a Los Angeles Craigslist thief. He shops for goods and unsuspecting victims
Los Angeles police said he robbed a 17 year old boy for his Xbox 360 and 4 games.
The victim told police that the man responded to the ad on Los Angeles Craigslist and even offered to come and pick up the ipod at his home. When the boy declined and said he would meet the potential buyer, they set up a meeting. When he walked up to the car with his xbox 360 he was sprayed with mase and jumped by atleast 2 people
Police are sending a warning to online shoppers to be careful when meeting with potential buyers. Police said never allow the buyer come to your house or your neighborhood, instead, meet them in a public place.
“Today pepper spray, let’s say that doesn’t work one day, a gun may be next, a knife may be next, we don’t know,” said Sgt. Perez

Craigslist Gets a 5 billion Dollar Evaluation
I guess I have to retract that statement I just wrote about Craigslist’s Value. According to Blodget craigslist is worth 5 billion dollars. Of course this is not based on its actual revenue, but based on what they would be worth if they were run differently with an eye towards maximizing revenues—which, of course, could impact how consumers interact with them, which in turn would impact their valuations.

Interesting how Craigslist Users stand by them no matter what.
Los Angeles craigslist competitor
My opinion on the eBay law suit against Craigslist and all of its sub communities, losangeles craigslist and so forth is simple. On craigslist blog that was named “Tainted Love” , they failed to answer on simple question. Did they attempt to dilute eBays shares or not? If you were to ask my personal opinion I would say yes. Two reasons why:
1. I doubt eBay would file a frivolous lawsuit after owning 28% stake for 4 years, when craigslist is for lack of better words, NOT A HUGE MONEY MAKER.
2. Why won’t craiglist answer the simple question? Did you dilute the shares or not? Everyone wants to sit there and cry the big bad wolf is trying to kill the sheep. Bottom-line if you try to rip anyone off for what they bought, you will eventually get caught

Craigslist expands without fanfare
The classified ads site that has destroyed newspaper business models across the world, Craigslist, has just got 27% bigger. Its founder, Craig Newmark, quietly announced two days ago on his blog: “Well, we just added what looks like 120 new cities, bringing it to 570, I think. (got to confirm) “
As Seamus McCauley remarks, that probably amounts to a 27% expansion of Craiglist’s global footprint and “immediately introduces a major competitive threat to newspaper publishers and any other media businesses relying on lassified advertising model, online or off, in those 120 cities.” It surely does.
In other Classified news, a new and upcoming classified site named OLX raised 13.5 Million in funding, bringing its total funding amount to 23.5 million. Look for OLX to be a major competitor to craigslist worldwide and look for adLump to be a competitor in the Los Angeles Classified market

Los Angeles law enforcement is concerned about craigslist
Los Angeles law enforcement is concerned about craigslist
The Internet is a valuable tool for many people. It can be used to find valuable information but it is not always a safe place for children. It can lead them down a road of illegal activities. Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating a prostitution case involving a 13 year old korea-town resident (west downtown la)
The prostitution allegations she’s involved with are a result of some ads she placed on the losangeles.craigslist.org the los angeles page of craigslist.
Craigslist is different in the fact it’s main purpose is for classifieds as opposed to social networking. However it’s still considered an unsafe website for teens. We are recommending all parents monitor craigslist and all orher Los Angeles Classifieds use, the way the L.A.P.D is doing
